Fudan Team Wins First Prize at 3rd National Collegiate Internet Security and Confidentiality Technology Contest
Fudan Team, “Liu Xing” (literally “six stars”), won the first prize at the 3rd Wending Cup National Collegiate Internet Security and Confidentiality Technology Contest (NCISCT).
Led by Chen Chen, the team consisted of three students, Tan Xin (Undergraduate Class of 2014) from School of Software, Jiang Zhe (Graduate Class of 2016) also from School of Software, and Ou Jiajun (Undergraduate Class of 2013)from School of Computing Sciences.
Hosted by Zhejiang Computer Applications and Education Federation and the Security Technology Commission, Zhejiang Computer Information System Security Association, this year’s contest attracted many teams. 20 teams fought their way to the final through fierce online contests.
A non-profit collegiate activity on science and technology, NCISCT was launched in 2014 to raise the awareness of internet information security and confidentiality in college students and further their hands-on capabilities, innovation and team spirits, with a view to facilitating higher education institutions’ discipline establishment, course design and methodology.
