The formal name of Fudan's Labor Union of is the Fudan University Committee of the China Educational Labor Union. The new Fudan University was founded on April 27th 2000, when the former Fudan University and Shanghai Medical University were merged. And the 15th Labor Union Committee and the 15th Fund Supervision Committee for the Labor Union were elected at the new Faculty Conference, which was held on May 20th 2001. The Labor Union of Fudan University is a bridge between the Party and the staff. It spares no efforts in turning Fudan into one of the best universities in the world.
