Professor

She graduated from the Department of Health Sciences of Shanghai No. 1 Medical College as an MB majoring in health sciences. Then she began to work at the college and was promoted to full professorship in 1997. Her academic focus is on the teaching and research of puberty and health education.

Since 1992, she has served successively as the Director of the Dean Office of the Public Health School of Shanghai Medical University, Deputy Party Secretary of the school, Deputy Director of the Personnel Department of the university (as well as Deputy Director of the Organization Department of the university's CPC committee), Secretary of the Party Branch of the Affiliated Nurse Training Center and the School of Nursing, Director of the President Office of the university, Vice-dean and Director of the Dean Office of the Medical School (formerly Shanghai Medical University) of Fudan University, Dean of the School of Continuing Education of Fudan, Director of the University's Council of Women. In 2001, she was elected to be a member of the Party Committee of Fudan. Since February 2006, she has been a permanent member and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Fudan, and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission under the committee.

In 1988, she went to the Public Health School of Harvard University as a visiting scholar to further her studies on puberty for a year.

In 1997, she was awarded with the honorary title of "Outstanding Worker for the Party's Affairs" in the education and medical system of Shanghai. She began to receive a special allowance from the State Council in 1998.
