This is an administrative division under the direct leadership of
the President. It assists the University management in implementing,
coordinating and supervising the fundamental policies. The Office
now consists of three sections: the Statistics Section, the
Secretarial Service Section and the General Section.
The Statistics Section:
The Statistics Section collects and analyzes important data of the
University in various aspects, and then reports them promptly to the
University leaders and to the authorities concerned. With the
information about all the University¡¯s departments at its
fingertips, the section supervises the execution of important tasks,
and expedites the implementation of various documents. It also edits
the yearbooks, illustrated albums and surveys of the University.
The Secretarial Service Section:
The Secretarial Service Section organizes meetings for the
President, makes the routine schedules for him, and deals with the
President¡¯s daily correspondence. Besides, it drafts and archives
the President¡¯s speeches and the relevant documents. Important
files, notices and regulations of the University are also composed
by this section.
The General Section:
The General Section is responsible for the general business
management of the University leaders. It keeps the official seals,
distributes letters of introduction issued by the University,
receives visitors and phone calls, and manages the finances and
materials. Besides, it is in charge of the printing, delivery,
circulation and archiving of documents, including the University¡¯s
restricted files.
