Under the leadership the Party committee and the management of the University, the Office works to maintain the political, public and internal security on campus. It also provides other important security services to the students, faculty and staff. It has eight sections: the General Office, the Office of Internal Security, the Office of Public Security, the Office of Fire and Traffic Management, the Office of Residence Registration, the General Office of Public Security Management, the Office of Internal Information Security, and the Office of Security Management, with the last three being nominally affiliated to the University.
