 Born
in Beijing, in June 1934, Hao Bolin graduated from the Department of
Physics and Mathematics of Ukraine state-run Harkefu University. After
that, he returned to work in the physics school of the Chinese Academy
of Science and here, he was promoted as the researcher and
vice-director in 1978. In November,1980, Mr. Hao was elected as an
academician of the Chinese Academy of Science. Now, he is the
researcher of physics department and doctoral student supervisor, as
well as the deputy director-general of Chinese postdoctoral fund
association and the managing director of the international academic
committee under the leadership of Chen Jiageng. What's more, he was
ever the vice-director and director of the theoretical physics school
of the Chinese Academy of Science.
