in Shanghai in 1936, he graduated from the Department of Physics of
Fudan University in 1958. Successively, he occupied the director of
Department of Nucleus Science, director of Modern Physics Studies
Institute, vice president and president. In 1984, he was given a
nationwide award "contributive youth worker". Selected as an
academician of the Chinese Academy of Science in 1991, he lead and
organize the accelerator-based atom and nucleus physics laboratory and
accomplished a series of world-recognized study project. His major
works include "atom physics" and "applied nucleus physics". |
