The Advisory Panel of the Student Career Development Center of Fudan University was established on April 18th, 2003. It consists of two parts: the Internal and the External Division (or Platform). The former is made up of the University's professors, administrators, and staffers, while the latter include the concerned government departments, renowned enterprises, non-profit organizations and experts. The function of the Center is chiefly to deal with the graduates' employment and provides all the students with career development education as well as substantial guidance. Its purpose is to serve the students, the University and the public.

The Panel aims at helping cultivate more talents in collaboration with the public, bettering the caliber of the Fudan students, and promoting the Geist and Image of Fudan. As a comprehensive platform co-sponsored by the University and the public for the development, guidance and planning of the students' future careers, the Panel is doing its best to improve Fudan's service of student career development and equip the students better for their future careers. Since the founding of the Panel, the University and its partners have cooperated in many areas, including the curriculum design, caliber promotion, internships and investigations, to facilitate Fudan's education and guidance of student career development.
