The Fudan In-home Tutorial Service under the Work-Study Program Center
of the University is the only legal in-home tutorial agency in
Fudan. The Service aims at serving the general public with quality
education resources and improving the students financially.
Established in 1984, the Service has provided part-time tutorships
to a great number of Fudan students, especially to those who are
economically marginalized. It has also gained an extraordinary
reputation for its excellent service.
The Service adopts the membership system to manage its registered
tutors, who are candidates for the bachelor's degree or even higher
at Fudan. Before anyone is formally admitted as a member, he or she
must pass a few examinations and then take the training courses.
Nowadays, the Service has been conducting its business on computers
so that all the information hitherto stored is safer and easier of
access.
Besides the everyday operations, the Service initiates every year a
speaking tour known as "Glory and Dream ¡ª¡ª Tips on the National
Matriculation Examinations" in the key high schools of Shanghai. The
tour has been vigorously welcomed and unanimously praised by the
high-school students, their parents and their teachers.
