Launched in June 1935, Fudan Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences is a comprehensive theoretical research journal published by Fudan University and is one of the major journals in China. There are papers regarding literature, history, philosophy, economics and law published in the journal. In 1978 an editing department for humanities and social sciences was established when Fudan Journal resumed publication.

There are papers regarding theoretical and applied mathematics, chemistry, life sciences, technology, information science, management science and medical science, as well as a research newsletter and brief published in the Journal.
Launched in June 1956, Fudan Journal of Medical Sciences is a core journal for comprehensive research in medical and health sciences. It was formerly known as Shanghai Medical University Journal. Most of the papers published in the Journal are research regarding original studies in basic medicine, clinical medicine, pharmacology and preventive medicine.
