It is worth mentioning that many latest technologies were adopted this year. Zhongshan Hospital and Huashan Hospital introduced 5G technology, artificial intelligence, augmented reality and 1080p video streaming to emergency care on site.

Thanks to real-time connectivity achieved by remote diagnosis systems, VR glasses with panoramic view and ultra-low latency 5G communication, doctors at the hospitals could assist on-site treatment and patients were able to received quality medical care in ambulances. With zero lag in information transmission, patients can be immediately taken over on their arrival, which was crucial to delivering life-saving treatment.
