Established in 1997, APRU is a network of leading research universities in the Pacific Rim. This year it calls on the students to help address a global health challenge: Improving Elderly Care in the Asia-Pacific. 45 teams from 22 universities in 12 economies, each of 4-6 students, spent 12 weeks on making a 10-minute video in English that propose a realistic, well-designed and innovative solution to elderly care.

PH Pro’s solution titled “Silver Link Project” provides professional psychological testing, counseling and consultation to seniors aged over 60. With the help of AI and 5G networks, it aims to train young and middle-aged people with knowledge of elderly care so that they can make wiser decisions on choosing quality services for their family members and better planning for their own retirement in the future.

As one of its founding members, Fudan University is dedicated to making contributions to economic, scientific and cultural progress in the region through cooperation in education, research and innovation with APRU and its members.
