We are now recruiting the second group of volunteers as beta testers. All students, faculty and staff are welcome to try the 5G campus network and kindly provide feedback for improvement.
How to become a beta tester?
Your mobile phone must support the 5G SA mode.
Your mobile phone number must be registered in Shanghai.
*There is no restriction on your mobile phone carrier. Both iOS and Android are allowed.
Send an email to nic@fudan.edu.cn and put “申请开通复旦大学5G虚拟校园网” (Apply for access to Fudan University 5G Virtual Campus Network) in the subject line. Include your student/faculty/staff number, name, school/department, mobile phone number and mobile phone carrier in the email. The application deadline is 12:00 pm on May 27.
During the testing period between June 1, 2021 and August 31, 2021, you will receive a monthly data pack as a reward from your phone carrier (valid only in the current month).
100 volunteers will be recruited for testing network reliability with China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom respectively. Apply early to get a place.
