Excitement filled the spring air as the Student Societies Fair at Fudan University kicked off in the afternoon of March 28. The once tranquil and vast grass field in front of Guang Hua Building was turned into various stages, attracting thousands of students through a magnitude of intriguing activities. Students from all over the world gathered to feel the charm of student societies.
“A day full of excitement! I was looking forward to this big event after experiencing a long period of online classes,” said Zi Qin Yap, an undergraduate student from Malaysia at School of Journalism. As a member of a program-based charity student society, she helped introduce programs and carry out games at the fair. “Our team put in a lot of effort to prepare for this event. The brainstorming and collaborating moments with my teammates are unforgettable memories of my campus life! ”
“The fair is very interesting and full of novelty,” said Jonathan Schwestka, a master’s student from Austria at the Institute for Global Public Policy, who tried and experienced different kinds of activities at the fair.
Being able to meet new friends and participate in activities together made me very happy to be here in fudan, said Daniela Andrea Maquera Sardon, a graduate student from Peru at the School of Economics.
